                Education:

 

After earning a doctorate in psychology, my attention turned toward my art education.   My art journey is summarized below.

11th Annual Renaissance Exhibition, Dickson TN, “Tea Time” (11x14 oil) selected into juried exhibition from August – October, 2009.

2012 47th Annual Central South Art Exhibition - National; May 5 - June 22 at the Tennessee Art  League; 808 Broadway, Nashville TN;

           Magenta, 20 x 16 oil portrait, was juried into this exhibition. 

2012 Pennyroyal Juried Art Exhibition, Hopkinsville KY. September 2012
           Sad Cow Disease, 14 x 11 oil, was selected for this exhibition

2017 One Tired Cow, Featured in Curated Collection of cow paintings by ArtSpan.

2020 Hot/Cold: Expressions in Wax.  Five abstract paintings in juried exhibition.  Poughkeepsie, NY.

Awards

            2015 - Jingle Bell (pastel), won 2nd place in the Still Life/Floral category of the 16th Annual Pastel 100 Competition (sponsored by Pastel Journal).
